Summer Activities For the Crew: Holoworld ?
Like many families in Nassau, we had been hearing the buzz about Verse Immersive Nassau – about holograms, interactive worlds, and an experience unlike anything else on the island. So, one afternoon my husband and I took our two children to the Mall at Marathon to see it for ourselves.
From the moment we arrived, the excitement was real. The children were ready, and Verse Immersive did not disappoint.
Our first journey was Star Walk, and it was interactive learning at its absolute best. Imagine seeing the planets up close, not in a textbook, but right before your eyes. Their size, their movement, their uniqueness – it all came alive. The children were especially thrilled to reach out and smash floating rocks for points and tap question marks that revealed fun, bite-sized facts. Seeing Earth in all its beauty was surreal, and the sheer magnitude of the sun – its power and presence – was something you didn’t just observe, you felt. We were learning, yes, but we were also in awe.
Next, we stepped into Everworld, a magical nature adventure. We wandered through a stunning field of flowers, encountering mysterious creatures, including a majestic elephant that felt almost within reach. The experience gently guided us through puzzles centered on patience, kindness, and happiness. The children were completely immersed.
Then came game time.
Using the skills we had picked up in Everworld, we moved into a fast-paced interactive challenge: blasting targets and working together to save dinosaurs from looming danger. It was energetic, exciting, and filled with laughter.
What stood out most, however, was not just the fun but the balance. As parents, we appreciated that our children weren’t simply sitting and watching a screen.
And truthfully, so were we.
At Verse Immersive, entertainment meets education in a way that brings families together, and leaves you a little more amazed than when you walked in.
